When you dream of a delicious and yummy breakfast, the first thing that comes to the mind are PANCAKES! They make such a lovely breakfast and they make us want it more. But making them light and fluffy is a skill to be mastered. Many a times, I’ve seen people making them with either the color not right or the texture not right. Well, I do not enjoy a pancake that’s not fluffy and that makes you chew and chew and chew. That’s why in this Homemaking Skills Series, I plan to bring to you the perfect pancake recipe with the perfect method so that you can never fail in them. Try this out, and enjoy your yummy and delicious pancakes.
3/4th cup all purpose flour
4 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter, melted
A pinch of salt
Mix together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Create a well in the center and add milk, egg and butter.
Using a whisk, stir till it is combined.
Heat a pan, oil it. Pour a scoop of the batter onto the pan and cook on medium heat.
Flip and cook till it is golden brown.
Enjoy with honey, cream or your favorite jam.
