Day 20 : Knowing the storage times of frozen foods

One of the most important thing you learn in the kitchen ( of course, apart from cooking ) is storing staples for future use. Whether it be fruits or vegetables or meat, it is essential to know how long can they be frozen without compromising its nutritional and health value. When you live in places where certain foods aren’t available all year round, people generally tend to freeze them so that they can relish the same throughout the year. But not everything can be frozen for an entire year. Below chart will give you an idea as to how long can you keep your ingredients before tossing them away. Also, it is very important to remember that by frozen, it means the temperature should be 0 degrees, anything higher than that will rot your produce and will lead to bacterial invasion.
